Judd's tooth

Well...Judd's lost his first tooth. I would like to say it's was a typical tooth loss. You know...it's loose for weeks, hanging by a thread, feel out biting into an apple. Not with Judd...I picked him up from daycare today and he hands me a tiny cup with a tiny tooth taped to the bottom. I kind of laughed a little but only because I was a little shocked. So I ask him how he lost his tooth. I mean I never even knew it was loose. Judd gets this serious look on his face and says "I thought it was loose so I just pulled it out." I about died. I looked at his teacher and she just nodded and said that he worked on it until it came out. I thought well that's Judd. Brendan was scared to pull his teeth when they got loose, not Judd he just rolls up his sleeves and gets the job done. After I picked him up we went to the grocery store. On the way home he had his fingers in his mouth then he says to me "Mom, I think I have another tooth loose." I said don't pull it! You won't have any teeth left for Christmas. But we've inspected his mouth. He's right...another one's loose. If it's gone tomorrow when I pick him up I won't be suprised.

I'll have to tell the Tooth Fairy to be conservative. She's not going have time to save before Judd pulls his teeth.

'Tis the season...for buying snow pants

Well here we are...the first snow of the season. The boys are all set to go out and play but don't let their smiles deceave you. The smiles are after turning their room and the laundry room apart looking for Judd's other boot (which come to find out had a big crack in it and so it wasn't any good) Then after having the same discussion as last year with Brendan about wether or not snow pants are supposed to have regular pants under them or not. (Milt and I won that fight, but it took 9 rounds) We hunted for last years snow pants which turned out to have the crouch blown out of them. At this point I'm thinking really...can this not wait until after 8am? Needless to say, it's now 6pm and both the boys are equiped with snow pants that fit, boots that don't leak and we were even lucky enough to find matching gloves for the left and right hand. So, I think I will kick my feet up for a few minutes because I just know they will be in soon wondering (complaining) about why it took all day to get their stuff together (bought because by noon that was easier) to go out and play. But that would be the joy of the first snow of the season.
Well you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year because the chances of me updating this before 2009 are slim.
Take Care! The Milners
The first one just came in...complaining :)
